Why are we called Artemisia?<\/p>\n

The origin of the name starts from Ilaria’s personal history.<\/p>\n

His two passions are the history of art and flowers.<\/p>\n

Artemisia Gentileschi was a painter of the Caravaggio school\u00a0who lived in 1600; one of the first to gain fame and a courageous\u00a0woman who broke the rules of the times.<\/p>\n

Artemisia is also the name of a plant of which there are many\u00a0varieties, it is a shrub widely used in cooking and pharmacology.\u00a0Absinthe is distilled from it and is the aromatic base in the\u00a0preparation of Vermouth.<\/p>\n

This is how the history of art and passion for flowers come together in one name…<\/p>\n
