ilaria fiorista di Artemisia
Ilaria, the landlady, is a contemporary art historian who, since 2003, has dedicated herself totally to her passion for flowers in order to give, through them, every type of emotion.
Over the years, his Artemisia shop has become a point of reference for the most demanding customers looking for floral creations and more…

Why are we called Artemisia?

The origin of the name starts from Ilaria’s personal history.

His two passions are the history of art and flowers.

Artemisia Gentileschi was a painter of the Caravaggio school who lived in 1600; one of the first to gain fame and a courageous woman who broke the rules of the times.

Artemisia is also the name of a plant of which there are many varieties, it is a shrub widely used in cooking and pharmacology. Absinthe is distilled from it and is the aromatic base in the preparation of Vermouth.

This is how the history of art and passion for flowers come together in one name…
